Solicitation # N0010426QFG23
Solicitation N00104-26-Q-FG23 is a total small business set-aside request for quotations issued by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg for the procurement of O-rings (NSN 5331-01-721-3707) intended for use in Seal Delivery Vehicle applications. The requirement is for 35 units to be delivered within 210 days on an FOB Destination basis. Due to the critical nature of the shipboard system, the material is designated as Special Emphasis Level I, meaning incorrect or defective parts could lead to catastrophic failure, serious injury, or loss of life. The O-rings must be manufactured according to SAE AS3581, P/N AS3581-111, must be mercury-free, and must satisfy toxicity and flammability requirements per NAVSEA S9086-AD-SOC-030. The government will make a single award based on the most advantageous terms, explicitly weighting past performance as more important than price, with supplier quality assessed via the DoD Supplier Performance Risk System color ratings. Technical compliance requires physical identification per MIL-STD-130 and packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073 and MIL-STD-1330. The contractor must maintain configuration control and submit any Class I or II Engineering Change Proposals for approval. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination, and all payment requests and receiving reports must be processed electronically through the Wide Area Workflow system.
