AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7MC-27-T-0859 is a request for the procurement of one stop-check valve (NSN 4820-01-644-3905) for the Defense Logistics Agency, specifically for delivery to the USS Gerald R Ford CVN 78. The requirement is issued under full and open competition with a delivery window of 20 days after receipt of order and an original required delivery date of April 30, 2026. Due to the nature of the part, manufacturing may require specific casting, forging, and tooling, which the government may not provide. All quotes must be submitted via the DIBBS portal by October 30, 2026, and should be based on FOB Origin terms. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and environmental standards, requiring the item to be free of asbestos and prohibiting the use of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. Manufacturers must maintain an inspection system compliant with ISO 9001:2015 or an equivalent standard. Packaging and marking must follow RP001, MIL-STD-2073-1E, and MIL-STD-129, with hazardous materials labeled per 29 CFR 1910.1200. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing through the Wide Area Workflow system and compliance with CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity standards. Price evaluation preferences are available for SBA-certified HUBZone small business concerns.
