This solicitation, issued by DLA Land and Maritime under contract number SPE7M1-26-Q-1474, is a request for quotations for a single stop-check valve, identified by NSN 4810-01-442-0846 and part number MB252251E-0300 from Hunt Valve Company, Inc. The procurement is classified as an emergency buy for a critical application item, requiring expedited delivery with a requested delivery date of 30 days after date of order. The contract is structured as a firm fixed price agreement with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. Due to the nature of the requirement, the item must be shipped via the fastest traceable means to the USS Hopper DDG 70, and parcel post is strictly prohibited for this vessel shipment. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality requirements, including DLA packaging standards and specific environmental prohibitions. Suppliers are prohibited from intentionally adding mercury or mercury-containing compounds to the hardware, with limited exceptions for specified functional uses, and must not use Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. Additionally, because the manufacturing of this item may require specialized casting or forging, the government provides resources for assistance with tooling and material sourcing. Compliance with MIL-STD-129 for marking and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging is required. Quotations are due by September 14, 2026, and will be evaluated based on price and delivery capabilities.
