AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7MC-26-T-225H is a request for quotations issued by DLA Land and Maritime for the procurement of one stop-check valve, identified as a critical application item. The required hardware is specified by NSN 4810014420846 and Hunt Valve Company part number MB252251E-0300. The item is to be delivered to the USS Hopper DDG 70 with a required delivery date of August 20, 2026, and a delivery lead time of 20 days after order. The contract is established as FOB Destination, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination point. The contractor must adhere to strict technical and quality standards, including DLA packaging requirements RP001 and marking standards MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-2073-1E. Specific environmental and safety prohibitions are in effect, including the ban on intentionally adding mercury or mercury-containing compounds and the prohibition of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. Because the item may require specialized casting or forging, the government directs sourcing inquiries to the DLA Casting and Forging Assistance Request portal. Payment and invoicing must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system. All quotes must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
