A new procedure for emergency situations has been implemented. Please refer to our web page at http://www2.mvr.usace.army.mil/Contracting - Contractors Registration for Equipment/Materials and proceed to the Contractor Registration Site to regist er rental equipment and materials for flood and rehab emergency work in the Rock Island District. During times of emergencies the Corps of Engineers requires immediate access to various types of heavy equipment and materials. Requirements are generated at all times of the day and night. This site is intended for you to communicate to us the types of equipment and/or material you have available and the locations that you are available to work. We have provided the various flood areas, classification of equi pment and type of material that historically is most in demand. If you wish to register your flood area preference, equipment and material it will be your responsibility to keep the information up to date. Registration is no guarantee that your items will be used, however this site will become a primary source of contractors and information for use during an emergency. Actual contract requirements will be provided on a per project basis. The information you provide is for information only and does not rep resent a contractual requirement. When an emergency strikes, our primary source for contractors will be the information provided.
