Nature of Requirements:
Purpose of the Request for Information The VICTORIA-Class Modernization (VCM) Periscopes project last engaged industry in February 2023 under Tender Notice W8472-195765/C in the form of a Request For Information. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND) and Innovation Science and Economic Development of Canada (ISED), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) including a Draft Request for Proposal. As the project progresses towards a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), this RFI will provide a continuous single point of official communication with industry. The project may use this RFI process for multiple purposes such as but not limited to: a) engage with industry to inform interested parties about the developments for this requirement; and b) request industry to review and submit feedback on the VCM Periscopes Draft RFP and the requirements described herein; c) provide an opportunity for industry to respond to the questions contained at Annex RFI Response Table. Additional questions may be asked of industry through amending this RFI. Responses are requested by 26th August 2024. There are security requirements associated with this RFI.
