LETTING LOCATION: 1074 HWY 90 CHIPLEY POSTING DATES: 01/06/2025 and 01/13/2025 CONTRACT DAYS: CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 15 Days The work under this Work Document-Driven Contract in Gadsden and Leon Counties consists of the removal of all vegetation, and debris on existing shoulders (paved and unpaved) and paved surfaces at guardrail installations. The work on shoulders consists of blading, restoration of positive grade and re-establishment of turf on any disturbed areas. Work Locations, descriptions and estimates will be provided in the Work Documents. Mobilization is incidental to the pay items listed. The summary of pay items for this project is listed in the Bid Price Proposal. This contract has a budgetary estimate of $200,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work.
