This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e)) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416), and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 - Publicizing Contract Actions. The solicitation will consist of the following NSN: LINE ITEM 0001: NSN: 3990-01-235-0367 NOMENCLATURE: VEHICLE, CARGO, TIE DOWN This item will be set aside 100% for small business. The official technical package/drawings will be released with the forthcoming solicitation. The solicitation issue date will be on or around 08/12/19, and the closing date will be on or around 09/13/2019. The solicitation does not authorize delivery of any material. The government plans to award a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract and the performance period will potentially be five (5) years: a Base Period of one (1) year and four (4) one (1) year options. Pricing is to be submitted for the one (1) year base period. An Economic Price Adjustment will apply to the option years, if exercised. The annual estimated quantity and required delivery schedule can be found in the solicitation. Only FOB Origin pricing will be acceptable. Inspection and Acceptable will be at Destination.
