This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for a quote (RFQ) The NAICS code is 811310. Contractor should provide service and maintenance of the 412 LRS/Vehicle Operations Base Car Wash facilities located in Building 3510 on Edwards AFB. This facility includes one covered car washing area with two (2) washing stalls. These stalls include two (2) spray nozzles and two (2) soap scrubbing brushes. The 412 LRS/Vehicle Operations Base Car Wash is an outdoor facility providing ongoing GSA & military vehicle washing support for the Edwards AFB community. Operators on base clean, wash and wax automotive vehicles, such as passenger cars, trucks, vans, tractors and trailers in this facility. This facility is a self-service car wash establishment. Performance Requirements: Support services on the Base Car Wash facilities include equipment inspection, and preventive maintenance. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, material and transportation necessary to perform the following services: a) Standard Manufacturers Equipment Warranty Extension b) Field Service Standard Warranty c) Inspection and Routine Care Visit Only authorized car wash contractors and distributors can provide support services and replacement parts to satisfy this type of repair and services. Please see the attached document for a statement of work (SOW) detailing what is required for this requirement. In addition, please make sure to submit a 252.209-7993 form with your quote.
