This requirement is for an unrestricted Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract for the acquisition of various motor vehicle parts, including torque converters, engine crankshafts, internal combustion pistons, and nonmetallic tubing. The contract structure consists of a three year base period with two one year options, for a maximum total duration of five years. Awards will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance, with the potential use of an anonymous online reverse auction to conduct price discussions. Logistics will be managed through the First Destination Transportation program, meaning the government will arrange commercial transportation via the Vendor Shipment Module rather than relying on supplier-provided shipping. Deliveries will be made in incremental quantities to various DLA stocking locations. All interested and responsible sources may submit quotes through the DSCC Bid website following the issuance of the formal solicitation under FAR Part 12 procedures.
