MEMORANDUM FOR 7 CONTRACTING FROM: 7 EMS/MXMF SUBJECT: Specifications MFR for Verisurf Software 1. Verisurf Software is needed to update a decade old software program utilized in the machining of Aircraft parts/accessories. Impact if not funded: software needed to reverse engineer aircraft parts that do not have machining blueprints. Current software does not interface with computer aided manufacturing software thus limiting capabilities in versatile aspects of state of the art Metals Technology Machining. 2. The table below specifies requested software: Item Quantity Description 1 Verisurf Software 1 includes; Verisurf CAD, AUTOMATE, MEASURE, BUILD, ANALYSIS, REVERSE modules. CAD module includes DESIGN - 3D surface modeling, 2D drafting, bi-directional and CAD translators. MBD - includes ISO 10303 & ASME Y14.5 compliant 3D model associated GD&T creation and editing. TOOLS for model based metrology including; auto flip surface normals, auto hole axis finder, screen shot grabber, 3D-PDF and more. Import files in ACIS, Autocad, Inventor, IGES, KeyCreator, Parasolid, Rhino, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, Spaceclaim, STEP, STL, VDA formats. Export files in ACIS, Autocad, IGES, Parasolid, STEP, STL, VDA file formats. AUTOMATE with drag and drop object oriented CMM programming makes creating, running and editing automated plans fast and easy. Includes the ability to create a master part CMM program and create deviation reports on subsequent parts. Includes open standard I++DME client for DCC CMM communication. Requires I++DME Server or Verisurf Universal CMM I++DME Server software option for proprietary controller communications. MEASURE module controls all 3D scanning and probing measurement functions, automates device alignments, measurement, inspection and reporting of measured features and surfaces to blueprints or CAD models. Probe based reverse engineering. Inspection data naming, annotating and reporting in HTML, Excel and PDF formats. CONNECT - Verisurf device interface for all popular portable and stationary CMM's and Scanners. BUILD provides real time dynamic 3D deviation arrows and numeric DRO display guides for fast positioning of assembly details. Intuitive graphical feedback is essential for tool building and assembling and eliminates costly hard templates and fixtures. ANALYSIS includes fast best fitting of measurements to 3D CAD model nominal. Analyze pointsto-points, points-to-curves, points-to-surfaces or points-to-meshes and communicate results with color deviation maps, whisker plots, custom ballooning and reporting. REVERSE is set of powerful tools to reverse engineer scan data into fully closed mesh surface models ready for 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing and Solid Modeling.
