Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration has a requirement for the purchase of Weather Tight Exterior Doors for the Training Ship the State of Michigan. This requirement will not be Set- Aside for Small Businesses under the NAICS Code 33232. Interested small businesses capable of performing this work please contact Ms. Patricia Etridge, Contracting Officer prior to close of business 4/22/2010 at patricia.etridge@dot.gov for further information. All new weather tight doors shall be of solid panel construction supplied with matching mild steel door weld-in frames and mitered corners and adjustable gaskets. All doors shall be prepped for painting. Each door shall be provided with a bumper and installed hook to match. Weather Tight Doors shall be of aluminum construction with core material of hardback foam sound proofing; Doors shall be fitted with two (2) individually operated Exterior and Interior Stainless Steel Dogs with Cam Followers; Three (3) stainless steel butt hinges; Stainless Steel lockset with quick acting lever handle and dead bolt locksets; Clamp-Grip 3/8-Inch Windows with clear tempered reinforced glass. The doors will be delivered to the Vessel which is located in Traverse City, Michigan. Solicitation DTMA4Q10031 will be issued on or about 4/23/10 with quotes due on 5/07/10.
