Solicitation FA8574-18-R-0003. The response date for this solicitation is 01 January 2018 by 4 P.M., EST. This will be a Firm Fixed Price acquisition for the procurement of engineering, technical, and logistics support for the common avionics systems to include Tactical Data Links (TDL) program's, Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) and MIDS Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS). The period of performance for this effort will be a one year base with four (4) one year ordering periods. Destination and delivery schedule will be specified in the solicitation. This acquisition is considered other than full and open competition. It will be sole sourced to ViaSat, Inc., Carlsbad, CA 92009, CAGE 47358. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" applies. All responsible, approved sources may submit a response, which, if received in a timely manner, must be considered. Only written, faxed, or electronic responses received directly from the requestor are acceptable. No telephone requests. No hard copies will be issued.
