Project Title: VICADS for Crisis Action Team (CAT) Room Renovation Reference Number: FA460822F0072 The 2nd Contracting Squadron, Barksdale AFB, hereby submits an official notice of sole source award. The Government has awarded a firm-fixed priced contract to Prometheus Security Group, Inc. under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) & 13.501(a)(1)(iii) for video conversion software compatible with VICADS. This procurement action is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. A description of the product being acquired is as follows: CLIN 0001 - VICADS Personal Viewer, Tower; Manufacturer: PRometheus; PN: 10-20000-00T The following Attachments are Applicable to this Award Notice: Attachment 1 - Sole Source J&A "This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received after publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government. Information received will be evaluated as to confirm or deny the decision to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. The Government will not pay for information received. Firms who desire to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter (email is acceptable) that demonstrates technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition. The letter must describe clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, and will not be cost or time prohibitive." Market research was conducted and only one source, LDIA Holdings LLC doing business as Prometheus Security Group Inc., is able to meet the government's needs.
