Full Description

The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Prometheus Security Group Global's (PSGG). This procurement is required in order to establish a redundant server to the current system that has a single point of failure, add an additional recording location to pull Restricted Area (RA) camera footage for Law Enforcement Officers, receive 12 additional recording licenses for RA cameras, and upgrade the current system software. The existing cameras and visual equipment are only functional with PSGG interface system. This procurement is intended to be awarded as a sole source due to PSGG's proprietary rights to all equipment, software maintenance, and specifications for this existing VICADS system. Second level and third level support and factory support are only available from PSGG. Certified parts are only available from PSGG. PSGG will not accept trouble tickets directly from customers of Unauthorized Maintenance Service Providers nor will they accept or work directly with any Unauthorized Maintenance Service Providers to include providing remote or on-site troubleshooting, resolution, new software releases, maintenance releases, and patches. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting From A Single Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
