Village of Saranac Lake Park Avenue Southern Sewer Main Manhole Components

The Village of Saranac Lake is soliciting bids for the procurement and delivery of manhole components for the Park Avenue Southern Sewer Main. This short-term contract, with a performance period of less than six months, requires the delivery of various materials to the Village facility in Saranac Lake, including 11 extended 48-inch diameter manhole bases, 65.5 vertical feet of 48-inch diameter risers, 11 flat tops with 30-inch openings, 11 pre-poured bench walls, 20 flexible rubber boots, 11 frames, and 11 sanitary sewer covers. Additionally, the scope includes a two-coat application of CS-55 interior coating for 100 vertical feet of components. All concrete elements must be NPCA certified, cast using a minimum of 5,000 PSI concrete, and flat top covers must meet or exceed H-20 loading requirements. To be eligible for award, bidders must be certified Mueller dealers and authorized Mueller Distributors who have represented their company for at least one year. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Village Clerk by October 21, 2026, at 2:30 PM, and must include a non-collusion statement and detailed technical specifications. The Village will evaluate bidders based on responsibility, capabilities, and experience, reserving the right to reject low bids from non-responsible bidders. While the Village may adjust quantities as needed without changing unit prices, all federal and state taxes are excluded from the bid.
