These components will be used to assemble a non-functional model. The model will be used to develop and mature integration procedures, and assess interfaces, alignments, clearances, and accessibility throughout the assembly process. NASA is soliciting information about potential sources to provide approximately 64 components to be fabricated. Component dimensional information and CAD models will be provided. The models will consist of the outer mold line of the component. The component description will provide information on the fidelity of the model to be created. In general, higher fidelity is required at all attach points. (See RFI Attachment A for reference information) Fabrication and materials selection will not be specified. The vendor shall be assess the models to select the appropriate materials and fabrication methods for each component to enable assembly of a self-supporting structural model. Delivery of monolithically fabricated components are preferred, but components assembled from pieces are acceptable for larger items. Prior to fabrication, the vendor shall seek concurrence from NASA on materials, dimensions, and fabrication methods for each component Prior to delivery, NASA will verify outside dimensions.
