Virtual Desktop environment expansion

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER: Indian Health Services-Crownpoint Healthcare Facility intends to solicit a firm fixed price, sole source award to Presidio, 1720 Louisiana NE, Suite 301, Albuquerque, NM, 87110 to expand and upgrade the current Virtual Desktop environment for the IT Department at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility, Junction State Highway 371/Route 9, Crownpoint, NM 87313. The statutory authority for this acquisition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2. The anticipated award date is July 11, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services. This pre-solicitation notice serves as notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 12:00 P.M., (EST) on July 8, 2014. Responses received will be reviewed; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
