Virtualization Sustainment part 1 Nutanix

This contract involves the procurement of additional Dell Nutanix servers to expand the existing cluster environment used by the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). The goal is to increase compute capacity at various DFAS sites, where demand for computing resources has reached a critical level. To ensure compatibility and maintain system integrity, the acquired servers must be either directly from Dell or authorized resellers, as the expansion needs to seamlessly integrate with Dell XC Core hardware nodes and Nutanix software already in use. The acquisition supports the ongoing growth and sustainment of the virtualization environment by adding new nodes to existing Nutanix clusters. This procurement ensures that the increased compute resource requirements for current and future operations are met while maintaining alignment with existing infrastructure standards.
