Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, Georgia, seeks to continue maintenance services with Ortho Clinical for Vitros 250 ECI and 5.1 Chemistry Analyzers, as Ortho is the sole manufacturer of these instruments. The hospital’s technicians are fully trained and familiar with troubleshooting these analyzers, which are integrated with the hospital's information system. The current inventory of reagents used in these analyzers consists exclusively of Ortho products, and a failure to renew this contract would lead to higher reagent costs as well as expenses related to new instrument procurement and training. The government intends to award this requirement as a sole source to Ortho Clinical Diagnostic due to the specialized nature of the equipment and existing infrastructure. Although this is not a request for proposal, companies capable of providing maintenance services are invited to submit their technical capabilities, past performance, pricing, and delivery timelines. This information will be reviewed for potential consideration in future requirements, ensuring that any alternative providers can meet the hospital's technical and operational needs.
