Solicitation No. GPO1000-16-Q0004 - The US Government Publishing Office in Washington, DC requires the purchase and installation of a Variable Pressure Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (VP-FE-SEM) equipped with Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), Secondary Electron (SE) capture, Variable Pressure (VP) detector, Backscatter Electron (BSE) detector, Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD), and Wavelength Dispersive Spectroscopy (WDS). The US Government Publishing Office in Washington, DC also requires the purchase of VP-FE-SEM sample mounting and surface preparation equipment capable of sputter coating, rough grinding up to and including molecular ion milling. A Factory Trained Technician will provide onsite training classes to instruct up to five (5) of GPO's personnel in operating procedures of the new instruments and detectors.
