Full Description

The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a single award Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract and will utilize procedures under FAR subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and FAR subpart 16.5 Indefinite Delivery Contracts for the rental of various metal detection, x-ray equipment, and corresponding security equipment for Special Events Hosted by Commander Naval Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) through out the year in the Hampton Roads Area. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The size standard is 500. The period of performance will be a three year ordering period and up to 6-month option to extend in accordance with clause 52.217-8. The anticipated start date is 01 July 2018. This requirement is a 100% set-aside to small businesses. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation is anticipated to be available around 01 June 2018. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
