Full Description

This is a mandatory posting of an approved sole source justification to limit purchase to the manufacturer: IEC Infrared. Purchase of repair of the Infrared Camera through manufacturer buyback program. We are requesting IEC Infrared, as they are the manufacturer for these parts due to the fact the camera system is manufactured by IEC Infrared. We cannot purchase parts and do repair with a reseller, we will not be able to participate in the buyback program. The IEC Integrated Camera System is a proprietary system, manufactured by a single manufacturer. IEC owns all proprietary rights to this system, its manufacture, repair and modification. Because of the proprietary and sensitive nature of this equipment, there is no other source for this system. Government plans to issue award for this on 20 September 2012.
