The contract calls for the procurement of 11 hundredweights of flat washers, identified by NSN 5310-00-543-2009, under solicitation number SPE4A6-26-T-51L8 issued by the Department of Defense's ASC Commodities Division. The washers are to meet strict technical and quality requirements set forth by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), including compliance with specific military standards for identification, inspection, and packaging such as MIL-STD-130N for marking and MIL-STD-129 for packaging and packing, with packaging conforming to ASTM D3951 unless otherwise superseded by DLA master requirements. The contract mandates quality assurance measures, including sampling plans based on MIL-STD-1916 or equivalent standards, and requires inspection and acceptance at the origin point. The delivery term is FOB origin with a delivery schedule allowing 171 days after award, with the required delivery date set for February 19, 2027. The washers must be physically identified and marked in accordance with referenced military specifications and quality standards, with traceability ensured through government part numbers and adherence to tailored higher-level contract quality requirements. The shipment will be sent to the DLA Distribution Depot at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, with specific instructions for palletization and packing to meet DLA packaging requirements. Communication regarding the contract is managed through a designated point of contact at the DLA, and the contract terms specify zero tolerance for quantity variance and non-conformance during acceptance sampling. This contract ensures secure, standardized, and traceable procurement of a critical hardware component for military use within the stipulated delivery timeframe.
