This contract is for the procurement of four flat washers, designated under NSN/Part Number 5310-01-319-4854, with a delivery timeline of five days after the award date. The solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division located in New Cumberland, requests compliance with multiple technical and quality requirements as per the Defense Logistics Agency’s master list, including cybersecurity certification (CMMC Level 2) for organizations handling the contract. Packaging, physical identification, and government marking removal on non-accepted items are mandated, along with strict adherence to sampling plans for quality control based on military standards such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ standards. Additionally, the contract specifies export control restrictions on technical data associated with the washer due to ITAR/EAR regulations, requiring prior authorization for any export or foreign national access. Only contractors certified under a joint US/Canada program and trained in handling export-controlled technical data are permitted to receive this information. The solicitation is open until a specified deadline in late May 2026, with the response due shortly thereafter, and the point of contact for the contract is provided for clarifications. Overall, this contract emphasizes strict compliance with government standards for quality, security, and export controls in the supply of a relatively small quantity of washers to the Department of Defense.
