AI Contract Overview
This contract outlines the procurement of 4,130 flat washers (NSN 5310-01-097-7688) to be delivered to the DLA Distribution Depot at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The washers must meet specific technical and quality requirements as detailed in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which supersede ASTM packaging standards. Packaging and marking are to conform to MIL-STD-129 and DLA packaging requirements, with palletization and shipment prepared accordingly to ensure compliance with military standards. The delivery timeline is set at 72 days from the order, with destination inspection and acceptance points, and no variance allowed in quantity. Quality assurance mandates adherence to sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with stringent controls on attributes classified as critical, major, or minor. Special provisions forbid the intentional use of mercury or mercury-containing compounds in the supplies unless exceptions apply for specified functional uses. The contract includes strict identification and marking criteria per ANSI and ASME standards, and prohibits government identification on non-accepted supplies. The procurement is managed under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-783B by the ASC Commodities Division of the Department of Defense, with a primary contact available for coordination.
