AI Contract Overview
This procurement is for the acquisition of 16 lock washers under NSN 5310-01-316-1403, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division. The contract is managed under the First Destination Transportation program with delivery required 171 days after order, with a required delivery date of August 5, 2027. The items are to be delivered FOB Origin to DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California. Because no approved technical data package is currently available due to proprietary or insufficient data, the contract relies on the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements for specific standards. Quality assurance is governed by destination inspection and acceptance, utilizing sampling methods such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with a requirement for zero non-conformances for acceptance. Packaging must adhere to ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, while palletization must follow DLA procurement requirements. The contract incorporates several critical regulatory clauses, including DFARS requirements for safeguarding covered defense information, prohibitions on hexavalent chromium and certain telecommunications equipment, and the Buy American Act. Payment processing is mandated through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
