Scope: The work to be performed consists, in general, of the replacement of two existing Septage receiving units, including piping and valves at the Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 2 located at 1700 E. Planz Road, Bakersfield, California 93301 and one existing Septage receiving unit, including piping and valves at the Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 3 located at 6901 Mccutchen Road, Bakersfield, California 93313. The work also includes the installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment. Septage receiving units shall be provided by the City of Bakersfield.
Notes: All questions must be received by the CITY in written form on the form provided no later than 10:00 A.M. seven calendar days prior to the scheduled bid opening. This will allow time to respond to the question and/or to issue an addendum to all contractors addressing the question. Questions received after the above set due date will not be acknowledged. The form may be sent via postal service, hand delivery or email. The City encourages sending the written request via email to expedite the process.
