Springville City is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to supply and deliver equipment for the upgrade of aeration diffusers at the Springville Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The project involves furnishing all necessary equipment, transportation, tools, supplies, onsite services, and coordination with the installation contractor to ensure the successful retrofit of existing secondary treatment basins with new fine bubble diffusers. This upgrade aims to enhance the biological treatment process by replacing the current STM aeration basins with modern diffusers, supported by new blowers that will be procured separately. The scope includes installing the diffusers within existing basins, along with new mechanical air piping and instrumentation, all designed to meet specified performance standards. The facility, located at 700 North 500 West in Springville, Utah, treats domestic, commercial, and industrial wastewater, discharging secondary disinfected water into an adjacent stream. The existing infrastructure includes influent screening, grit removal, trickling filters, secondary clarification, tertiary filtration, UV disinfection, and solids handling systems. The procurement is part of a broader effort to upgrade the plant’s secondary biological treatment capabilities. The project is valued between $500,000 and $2 million, with a response deadline of August 7, 2025. Interested vendors can access detailed bid package information through the provided online link.
