The contract involves the procurement of water sampling test kits specifically designed for chlorine analysis. Each kit includes 30 glass ampuls of reagent, two dropper bottles of solution, a comparator, and a sample cup. Two units are to be delivered within five days after the order date. The packaging requirements are stringent, mandating that each complete unit be securely sealed in a container that prevents damage or breakage, with packing done using suitable commercial exterior shipping containers that comply with export standards when necessary. The packaging and marking must conform to DLA Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding previous MIL-STD-129 guidelines. This procurement is handled by the Medical Supply Chain of the Department of Defense, under solicitation number SPE2DH-26-T-2564, posted in March 2026 with a response deadline in late March. The contract adheres to technical and quality requirements specified in the DLA master list, and these standards control based on the solicitation or award dates. The contract also outlines procedures for the removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and mandates compliance with applicable defense information handling protocols.
