Full Description

The goal of this project is to visually inspect as many residential water service lines as possible with the allowable funds so we can comply with the changes set forth above. The City must determine what material each service line is comprised of such as lead, copper, PVC, galvanized metal, or plastic. This will be accomplished by the following:
a) Visual Inspection: The meter box is opened and service lines on BOTH sides of the meter are inspected visually to determine material type b) Manual Inspection: The area around the meter box must be excavated to expose the service line.
