NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE


This notice is for informational purposes only. The 192 MSG/MSC, Virginia Air National Guard, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to Atlantic Emergency Solutions, Inc. for the repair of the auxiliary centrifugal water pump (manufactured by Hale Products) located on the rear of a Freightliner water truck under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 12.102(b), due to the requirement for authorized warranty service and proprietary specialized equipment repair.


Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing information describing their ability to provide the authorized service listed above. Specifically, respondents must demonstrate they are an authorized servicer and seller of Hale Products capable of performing this repair without voiding the manufacturer's warranty.
