The U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane is seeking to procure ten Arbitrary Waveform Generators with part number 670C-4C-2256M-HV4-GPIB under a sole source acquisition through a Firm Fixed Price Request for Quotes issued pursuant to FAR 12.201-1. The requirement is specifically for units capable of generating synchronized, complex waveforms across four independently controlled analog channels with a minimum sampling rate of 100Msa/s and an ideal rate of 600Msa/s, 16-bit vertical resolution, and jitter under 2 picoseconds. Each channel must support voltages up to 12Vpp on a 50ohm load and offsets from -6V to +6V, with a minimum memory of 256Ms and dual communication interfaces via GPIB and LAN, all compatible with SCPI commands. The devices must also include a physical display and controls for manual operation. The sole source is BNC Corp of San Rafael, California, identified by CAGE code 23908, as they are the only U.S.-based supplier whose waveform generators meet the precise technical and firmware requirements necessary for integration into Aegis test systems at Crane and external vendor sites; no other provider can deliver the necessary performance without additional development or resource expenditure. The solicitation number is N0016426Q0164, with submissions due by June 8, 2026, at 11:00 PM Eastern Time via email to rose.m.brown44.civ@us.navy.mil. All offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management and comply with applicable representations and certifications incorporated by reference, including those concerning cybersecurity (NIST SP 800-171), counterfeit part avoidance, electronic part sourcing, and defense information safeguarding. The acquisition is subject to DPAS rating DO-A7 for national defense priority, and compliance with the Buy American Act and several federal statutes governing procurement integrity, kickbacks, labor standards, and restrictions on influencing federal transactions. Delivery is required at NSWC Crane’s receiving facility in Crane, Indiana, within six weeks of contract award, with shipping costs covered under a separate CLIN. Items must be uniquely identified and marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130 and MIL-STD-129, with all marks machine-readable and verified using approved automatic identification technology. In
