Weapons Planning Software (WPS)

The Department of Defense has issued a draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) under the new solicitation number FA8681-18-R-0006 for the follow-on effort related to the Weapons Planning Software (WPS) program. This new solicitation number will be used for all future notices regarding this effort. The WPS products are designed to be compatible with a wide variety of combat aircraft and weapon platforms, supporting numerous DoD and authorized foreign units around the world. However, due to the sensitivity of the information involved, foreign vendors are excluded from participating in any contract activities related to this program. The contract falls under the NAICS code 511210 and is managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
