The use of handwritten entries is prohibited. The ticket shall have clipped corners at the end where a reinforcing patch (with or without a metal eyelet) is firmly affixed for attaching the tying string. In lieu of the abovenamed requirement, if the total contract award does NOT exceed $100,000, the contract awardee may submit a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) per 3.1.3 of the DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles (C&T) Additional Quality Assurance Requirements (AQAR), Revision 1 dated August 2021. . Please note, however, use of the CoC in lieu of submitting the certified test reports, is subject to approval by the Contracting Officer identified on the solicitation, purchase order, and/or the contract. . THE VENDOR SHALL NOTIFY THE DLA Product Test Center -Analytical FOURTEEN (14) CALENDAR DAYS TO THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS IN ADVANCE OF WHEN LOTS ARE TO BE PRESENTED FOR SAMPLING AT THE ADDRESS BELOW.
THE CONTRACTOR'S APPROVED QUALIFIED LABORATORY WILL BE REQUIRED TO FORWARD A COMPLETED TEST REPORT FOR EACH LOT OF COMPONENTS TO THE ADDRESS BELOW. THE SUPPLIER'S SOURCE SAMPLING REPRESENTATIVE WILL PROVIDE THE COMPLETED DD FORM 1222 dated March 2021 TO THE LABORATORY TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE COMPLETED TEST REPORT. NOTE: PERMIT 45 CALENDAR DAYS . Identification of Testing Sites. Unless the contract mandates a Government laboratory be used to conduct testing, the prime contractor shall identify all testing sites that will perform any test required by the terms of the contract, including end item testing. Any laboratory proposed by the contractor is subject to the approval of the contracting officer. Testing facilities shall be subject to on-site witnessing of testing by the Government. The use of a laboratory previously approved by the Government is not a guarantee that testing will be performed properly, nor does it relieve a contractor from the contractual obligation to present conforming supplies accompanied by true, accurate, and valid test results.
Certification of Testing Sites. The prime contractor shall identify a technical point of contact for the testing site and provide current contact information. The prime contractor should alert the technical point of contact that the certification process has begun. A current ISO 17025 accreditation whose scope encompasses the contractual testing or equivalent will be accepted. When a testing site and its contact information are provided to DLA Contracting and the DLA Product Specialist, the product specialist will initiate a request for the DLA Product Test Center (DLA-PTC) to certify the lab. This request will be managed via an internal DLA Troop Support process.
In the absence of an appropriate ISO 17025 accreditation, the DLA-PTC will compare all required testing in the contract to the commercial lab capability. If the testing facility is
