- Nomenclature
- Specification number
- Yardage
- Contract number and date of manufacture (month and year)
- Contractor's name
- Name of contracting agency. . Each roll or spool of webbing shall be labeled or ticketed for fiber content in accordance with the Rules and Regulations under the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act. . The textile manufacturer shall properly identify the age of the textile materials by placing a tag on the finished goods or label on the containers identifying the specification to which the material is manufactured, the lot number and the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is defined as the date (month and year) of the last manufacturing process that affects the physical characteristics of the material. . TEST REPORTS AND COMPONENT CERTIFICATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH DLA TROOP SUPPORT CLOTHING & TEXTILES ADDITIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS, Revision 1 dated 1 August 2021 (superseding DPSCM-4155.3 dated 3 November 1997) ARE REQUIRED WITH ALL CONTRACT COMPONENT LOTS. SOURCES OF COMPONENT MATERIALS SHALL BE IDENTIFIED, INCLUDING APPLICABLE SPECIFICATIONS, AND SHALL NOT BE CHANGED THROUGHOUT THE LIFE OF THE CONTRACT WITHOUT REQUEST AND APPROVAL BY THE DLA TROOP SUPPORT CONTRACTING OFFICER THROUGH MODIFICATION TO THE CONTRACT.
RESPONSIBILITY OF INSPECTION. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ALL INSPECTION, EXAMINATION, AND TEST REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIED HEREIN AND IN THE SITED SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PERFORM ANY OF THE INSPECTIONS, EXAMINATIONS AND TESTS AS DEEMED NECESSARY TO ENSURE SUPPLIES AND SERVICES CONFORM TO PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS. . FOR PHYSICAL (NON-SHADE) TESTING: Only applicable if the total contract award exceeds $100,000
In lieu of the abovenamed requirement, if the total contract award does NOT exceed $100,000, the contract awardee may submit a Certificate of Conformance (CoC) per 3.1.3 of the DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles (C&T) Additional Quality Assurance Requirements (AQAR), Revision 1 dated August 2021. . THE VENDOR SHALL NOTIFY THE DLA Product Test Center -Analytical FOURTEEN (14) CALENDAR DAYS TO THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS IN ADVANCE OF WHEN LOTS ARE TO BE PRESENTED FOR SAMPLING AT THE ADDRESS BELOW.
THE CONTRACTOR'S APPROVED QUALIFIED LABORATORY WILL BE REQUIRED TO FORWARD A COMPLETED TEST REPORT FOR EACH LOT OF COMPONENTS TO THE ADDRESS BELOW. THE SUPPLIER'S SOURCE SAMPLING REPRESENTATIVE WILL PROVIDE THE COMPLETED DD FORM 1222 dated March 2021 TO THE LABORATORY TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE COMPLETED TEST REPORT. TEST REPORTS SHALL NOT BE OLDER THAN NINETY (90) CALENDAR DAYS.
