Trash Services

The U.S. Coast Guard, under the Department of Homeland Security, has awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for weekly trash and waste removal services at three stations—Annapolis, Crisfield, and Stillpond—under solicitation number 70Z0G826Q0000005. The contract is set aside exclusively for total small businesses and falls under NAICS code 562111 for solid waste collection. Performance is based on a Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method, where technical capability serves as a pass/fail gate requiring at least an “Acceptable” rating; failure to meet this threshold disqualifies an offeror regardless of price. The base performance period runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with four option years extending through June 30, 2033, contingent upon government funding and performance. Services include weekly pickup of one 8 cubic yard receptacle at Annapolis and Crisfield, and one 4 cubic yard receptacle at Stillpond, with mandatory receptacle replacement at the start of each fiscal year and as needed.
