This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number NRCan-5000074393 dated July 27, 2023 with a closing of August 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation. By means of this RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders for modifying a pilot scale reactor to demonstrate pressurized chemical looping, a carbon capture technology for small and medium industry. This work requires modification of an existing TSSA-registered pressure vessel to house the reactor. The required modifications have been designed, drawn and stamped by a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario. A Contractor is being sought to perform the modifications as per the drawing, pressure test the modified vessel, and update the TSSA registration. Vessel priming and painting are out of scope for this work.
