Full Description

The existing Well 115 was originally constructed in 1988 and was completed in drift formations and is gravel packed. The well consists of 12-inch casing (pitless adapter), 20-inch casing extending from +1.5' to 90 feet below ground surface and is screened from 90 feet to a total depth of 135 feet. The primary purpose and intent of this project is formation redevelopment, combined with inspection and repair/replacement of all related well equipment as needed, including cables, pump, motor, and column piping. Over-pumping of the formation with the existing pump has been a long-standing operational issue and is currently mitigated through throttling of the discharge line valve. "Right-sizing" of the well's production to maintain a safe pumping level via pump redesign and aquifer formation redevelopment accompanied by well-screen cleaning is intended to achieve sustainable pumping without throttling the discharge flow.
