WeSH Outpatient and Emergency Care Services

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide outpatient and emergency care services for residents of Wernersville State Hospital (WeSH). The selected contractor will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents at their hospital sites, coordinating treatment plans and discharge with WeSH staff, and adhering to strict medical reporting timelines, including faxing test results within 24 hours and full reports within two weeks of appointments. The contract is for an initial two-year term with the possibility of three additional one-year renewals at the agency's discretion. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the potential for multiple awards. Bidders must submit pricing as a percentage of customary charges and provide mandatory certifications, including Worker Protection and Investment and Lobbying forms. Contractors must maintain professional credentials, including medical licenses and malpractice insurance, and comply with the Department's Zero Tolerance for Sexual Abuse and Harassment policies. Payment for services will follow the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Fee Schedule, and any services without an applicable code are non-billable.
