West Davis Active Adult Community Project

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-67868-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Denova Homes, Inc. The project is limited to the installation of approximately 1,250 cubic feet of rock slope protection (RSP) required to armor Covell Drain under two newly constructed City of Davis required pedestrian bridges, as well as the installation of RSP at the previously permitted and installed weir for erosion control. The project also includes grading repairs to an existing culvert on the Covell Drain that crosses Spirit Street to improve roadside drainage and the installation of a wildlife crossing shelf inside the existing culvert.
