Requirement The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has a requirement for garment rental, laundry and delivery services for a variety of protective garments used in laboratory, workshop and meat processing and slaughter establishments. Set-aside under the Federal Government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) This procurement has been conditionally set aside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). The procurement is open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. However, if two or more Indigenous businesses submit a bid, then the procurement is set aside under PSIB. In order to be considered under PSIB, a supplier must certify that it qualifies as an Indigenous business as defined under PSIB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSIB Level of Security Requirement: Contractor will be escorted. The Canada–Ukraine Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-United Kingdom Trade Continuity Agreement, the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canada Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). If the procurement is set aside the following applies: This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Indigenous peoples or for set-asides for small and minority businesses. Further to Article 800 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CFTA does not apply to this procurement.
