Description - Wetland Restoration
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12FPC126Q0049 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Wetland Restoration –LeJuene WRP 663220100G48
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction The small business size standard is $45.0 Million This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
Statement of Requirement: NRCS holds a Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) conservation easement on this property. As part of that easement, a wetland restoration was completed in 2005 with a galvanized structure and an earthen dike. The galvanized structure is at the end of its life span and needs to be replaced. The replacement structure will be connected to an existing galvanized outlet pipe. The new structure and the existing outlet pipe will be lined with an HDPE product to prolong its life.
