Wheatley Dam Dredging Services

Charles County Government is soliciting sealed bids for wet dredging, hauling, and sediment disposal services at the Wheatley Dam reservoir located in Gilbert Run County Park, Charlotte Hall, Maryland. The project is a critical precursor to a planned dam retrofit and focuses on removing sediment from the northern end and western cove of the reservoir to preserve long-term capacity. The scope of work includes mobilization, mechanical dredging of at least 500 cubic yards in the western cove and 2,000 cubic yards in the northern end, and the hauling of sediments to County Landfill 2 in Waldorf.
