This contract is a firm-fixed price, 100% Total Small Business set-aside awarded by the Department of the Interior, specifically through Sat Team 2 FWS, for the procurement of frozen Chironomidae bloodworms to support feeding operations at the Genoa National Fish Hatchery in Wisconsin. The total quantity required does not exceed 8,500 pounds, to be delivered in two separate shipments between May and August 2026, with the first shipment due by the end of June and the second by the end of August. Product specifications mandate that bloodworms be harvested and processed according to standard commercial practices, free from spoilage, decomposition, mold, freezer burn, thawing and refreezing, and hazardous contaminants.
