William Head Institution Fire Alarm and Life Safety Testing and Inspections This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Pacific Region, William Head Institution. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for testing, inspection and certification of fire protection and life safety systems at William Head Institution in Metchosin on Vancouver Island B.C. Objectives: The contractor must provide comprehensive maintenance services that consist of scheduled maintenance, semi annual and annual testing and inspection at regular intervals for Fire Protection Systems. The work the Contractor must perform includes but is not limited to: annual and semi annual testing, external examinations, inspections and maintenance and three and five year testing. The Contractor must complete all work in accordance with fire protection systems CAN/ULC S536 and CAN/ULC S552, NFCC 2020, CSA B64.10.1-11 and NFPA 10 and 25. Deliverables: The Contractor must provide all necessary tools, equipment, parts, materials and labour needed for mandatory maintenance requirements and tests including but not limited to: semi annual and annual testing and inspections, services and inspections at regular intervals.
