The Government does not have rights to the Technical Data Package (TDP) or specifications.



With the winch, the HET can recover itself when immobilized due to terrain, move other vehicles, or assist in recovering non-mission capable tactical and combat equipment. The winch accomplishes these actions by using a motor that turns a spindle from which the drum assembly is attached. The drum, in turn, either winds or unwinds a cable which is attached to a fixed point.
