AI Contract Overview
This contract covers the procurement of a single unit of a wire rope assembly, identified by NSN 4010-01-682-4914, under solicitation number SPE4A5-26-T-056W. The purchase is for one each with a delivery requirement of 20 days to the destination, specifically to the USS Tulsa LCS 16 at an FPO address. Packaging and marking requirements are stringent, mandating compliance with ASTM D3951, MIL-STD-129 for labeling, and DLA's specific packaging standards (RP001). The contract incorporates detailed quality and technical criteria from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which take precedence over general standards to ensure strict quality control. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or equivalent plans, focusing on critical attributes with defined acceptance quality levels. The contract stipulates delivery and acceptance at the destination, with zero tolerance for non-conformances unless otherwise noted. Government identification must be removed from rejected supplies, and part marking requirements must be met. Transportation instructions reference specific DLA procedures (C19 and C20) for shipment and freight forwarding. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense’s ASC Supplier OEM Division, with the primary point of contact provided. The solicitation is open for responses until mid-April 2026, with the contract emphasizing compliance with federal acquisition and quality assurance standards.
