NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT Description of the Requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND), specifically the Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) has a requirement for one (1) Wireless Mobile Column Lift System and a demonstration of equipment usage. The requirements are to be delivered to the following address: Technical Support Service (Ottawa-Gatineau) 2380 Lancaster Road Ottawa,Ontario K1A 0Z4 Canada The equipment must meet the requirements detailed in the Statement of Requirement (SOR) attached as an Annex to the solicitation document. All the deliverables must be supplied and delivered within six (6) months after Contract award. United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC): 23101661 Vehicle Lift Level of Security: There is no security requirement applicable to the Contract. Applicable Trade Agreements: This requirement is subject to the provisions of the following Trade Agreements: Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA); Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA); Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement (CCoFTA); Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPaFTA); Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement (CHFTA); and Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA). Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement: There will be no set-aside for aboriginal businesses. This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Requirement Details: It is DND’s intention to award a single Contract for this requirement. Bidders are to refer to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the detailed requirement. The Bidder that offers the responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for the award of a Contract. DND reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the proposals received. Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Canada retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. See solicitation documents.
