The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime (DSCC) is conducting a market survey to identify Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB) capable of supplying various commodities under a WOSB set-aside program. The survey targets businesses within specific North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes related to manufacturing sectors such as industrial valves, metal fittings, small arms, transformers, batteries, fiber optic cables, and military vehicles. Each identified NAICS category has a contract size limit of up to $6.5 million. Interested businesses that either have past awards or believe they can provide applicable National Stock Numbers (NSNs) are encouraged to submit information to the provided contact email. To support participation, a virtual webinar was scheduled to present details about the DLA Land and Maritime WOSB/EDWOSB Contracting Program, including guidance materials and compliance resources for contracting officers. The program primarily focuses on opportunities in Columbus, Ohio, and aims to facilitate engagement and contracting with qualified women-owned businesses. For additional support, a designated Small Business Specialist is available for contact. This initiative represents a strategic effort to promote inclusion of women-owned businesses in government contracting within the defense manufacturing sector.
